The Australian Open is on in Melbourne right now and how I wish I was there watching it "live"! Rooting for Federer to add on his Grand Slam titles, although I think his chances are not that great as before. He hasn't played that well for a while now after the US Open lost although consistency is still his main strength. Lots of players will be challenging him for the title this year, notably is arch rival Rafal Nadal, Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Juan Martin Del Potro and Nikolay Davydenko. Would be interesting to see who comes up top by end of next week.
As for the women side, Justin Henin's my main bet, followed by Kim Clijster. Both are comeback players. I know a lot of tennis fans don't like Henin, but I still like her play. Single handed backhand, one of the best in women's game.
