My earlier post on the list of Malaysian runners is inaccurate. There are another 3 Malaysians running it, inluding, Woo Chan Yew. He will be standing near the elites! The additional 3 are based in US. Would be great if I could meet each and everyone of them and take a group photo for the Malaysian group. Haha. But contacting them and also with 20,000 runners may prove a daunting task.

Woo Chan Yew...the name rings a bell. I think he is the national record holder (outside of M'sia). Best time sub 2:30.....

Haha...(outside of Malaysia). I still do not think we should put it that way, otherwise most national records set outside Malaysia will not be counted. There are many national records set outside of Malaysia. It's like whether Paula Radcliffe's marathon WR should be considered, which I think whether or not it's assisted with male pacers, it is still one hell of a performance, right? Male pacers won't be much of a use if you don't have what it takes to push it.
totally agree. The actual truth runs deeper, I think. Anyway, a record is a record. I don't care if he is in or out of Malaysia. By outside Malaysia, I actually meant physically resident outside of Malaysia. :)
