Another DNS Race!

I missed out running the Malakoff 12km last Sun due to illness. Never ran the Malakoff Running Race series before and looks like I'll have to wait another year to do it. Fell sick a week before the race and didn't manage to recover in time for the race. Have a hard time breathing thru my nose as it was blocked occasionally. Decided the last minute to pull out from the race as it was not worth risking it. Plenty more of races to come in future. Am still having a blocked nose now!

I was looking forward to racing my last race for the year as I didn't sign up the Asia Road Master the week earlier. And with plenty of good runners in Malakoff Run, I wanted to use this race to gauge my fitness. Guess I would have to assess myself next year. Anyways, my preparation for this race wasn't ideal so I don't think I can challenge any of them even if I wasn't sick.

I am glad that some of the runners who have attended the Dutamas Runners group runs have done well in the race. I came in a time of 1:01:51, position 161 overall! Haha. You guys didn't see me, did you? For more results, please visit the Malakoff Run official website.
